DEATH NOTICES

Ruth Sayward Pattee, 93, of Charlottesville, died Monday, May 27, 2002, in the Christopher Center at Our Lady of Peace.

Born Jan. 20, 1909 in Belfast, Maine, she was the daughter of the late John H. and Ellen Gorden Sayward. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Linwood M. Pattee.

She is survived by her daughter, Kristin P. Peura and her husband, Dr. David A. Peura, of Earlysville, and four grandchildren, Thomas P. Brennan, James Bates, Jessica M. Peura, and Brian C. Peura and his bride, Jennifer.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be sent to Our Lady of Peace, 751 Hillsdale Dr., Charlottesville, Va. 22901.
